いつものように 40m single Op CW で参加。
最初の三時間くらいで去年の +50 くらい行ったので、
600 は行くだろうかとも思ったが、睡眠不足がたたり、
途中で失速(寝てしまった)。
ついに草取りをしたり、一時間早く切上げたりもあって、惨々な結果となった。
土曜日の 16:30- 18:00 に寝る代りに、 じゃがいもを植えたのが、一番こたえた。

という良く似た機械で、
今までに
NetBSD 6.0_BETA
以降の版を動かして見ている。
特に 600GB くらいある NFS サーバから rsync -aH SRC/ DST/ で写している。大変時間がかかるけれど、負荷試験には良いかなとも思っている。 この時に
ちなみに、NFS サーバ側も NetBSD/evbppc 4.0 ( Kawauchi version) で同じような機械。 ここに書いた機械は、サーバ側も含めて、実体としては三つ。TS-TGL x 2 + KURO-BOX/T4。 全て 250 GB x 4 で Software RAID5 を組んである。 上に rsync -aH で写している、と書いたが、 最初は何も考えずに 100Base-T で混合 Network の上でつないでいた。 今は二台だけを 1000Base-T の(安い) Hub で独立させている。これだと 3GB/1 時間くらいかな。それまでは 6GB/8 時間 -> 0.75GB/時間くらいだった気がする。 今は進行具合を MRTG で監視するようにした。 ＠ KURO-BOX/T4 の Flash 内容はどうやって入手する ?:

はどうするか、という話で、
もしかすると KURO-BOX/T4 が少なくとも一台必要なのかな、という気が少ししている。
自分の機械なら写しても良くて、他の人に渡してはいけない、というのも変な話だが。 (でも普通の著作権なら、個人的複製は問題ない、という話から考えれば、良いのかな) 一部 は GPL だと思うが、多分全部は GPL にはなっていないだろう。 多分勝手には写せないのかな。でも U-Boot って GPL だな ... (?) それとも firmimg.bin という名前で、どこかに置いてあるのかな。 u-boot-1.1.1-KURO-NAS-X4.tar.gz u-boot-2009.06.bz2 (名前は .bz2 だけれど tar zvxf 等で開ける) ( つっこみ )

に完了した limited-list pbulk の結果を使って、
(NetBSD/i386 6.0_BETA) の機械で、

i386 で実行していた limited-list pbulk が
完了したので、
sudo pkg_delete '*'して、pkg_info で何も表示されないことを確めてから config-desktop config-emacsを pkg_add した。しかし、emacs を起動すると、次のようになってしまう。 Warning (initialization): An error occurred while loading `/home/makoto/.emacs': error: ファイル /usr/local/share/tc/bushu.expand が存在しません。2004/08/21 の日記 に同じ文字が出て来るが、そこに書いてあることは多分役に立たない。 *scratch* buffer を開いておいて (require 'tc-setup)すると、ほぼ次のような表示になる。

EU は RD3A が聞えていたけれど、呼んでも返事がない。
変だなと思ったら、御本存は +40dB で入感していて、先っき呼んだのは子供だった。
それから CQ を出したら、かなり呼ばれ続けた。 EU と NA の差は何かな、というのが大きな疑問。 ( つっこみ )

/usr/pkg/share/automake-1.11/elisp-comp の中に次のような部分がある

(「load-path の先頭に nil を追加する」意味は ) と思って、分らない。時々、この nil の代りに "../" と書く必要がある場合があって、(と言っても、それは僕の何かの勘違いだとは思うが) 何かな、と思っている。 ... と思ったら nil の件は、 M-x describe-variable RET load-path RETに一応答えが書いてあった。 Documentation: *List of directories to search for files to load. Each element is a string (directory name) or nil (try default directory). Initialized based on EMACSLOADPATH environment variable, if any, otherwise to default specified by file `epaths.h' when Emacs was built.一応というのは default とは何か分らないので。 さて、 "../" と書く必要がある時とは、上で 78 cd $tempdirしているが、その cd する前の一つ上にある他の *.el も読みたい時である。 もし一つ上にある *.el を読む必要がある時でも、既に同じものが設置済の場合には、 site-lisp にも同じ *.el があるので、そちらが利用されて、見かけ上 nil だけでも問題がない。 とここまで書いて、本来は "../" を加えるべきだと思う。 (それだけでは足りない場合もあると思うけれど) 仮に bug report を出すとして、どこに出すのかなぁ。 少なくとも、git repository はここで見られること分った。

2012/04/07 とりあえず MD kernel が起動した

mkfs.ext2 というか /sbin/newfs_ext2fs をしておく。
実は wip/e2fsprogs とか sysutils/e2fsprogs を見ていて wip より sysutils の方が新しいな、こちらを使おうとか思っていたが、実は pkgsrc を使わなくても、/sbin/newfs_ext2fs があった。 更に mount_ext2fs で mount した上で、中に altboot.bin を写しておく。 これで u-boot では setenv bootcmd1 'sata part; ext2load sata 0:1 1000000 altboot.bin; g 1000000 wd0a:netbsd'(実際には一行) と入力して saveenv しておく。 最初の sata part はおまじないで、これ無だと file がないよと言われたりする。 ちなみに、起動時にはいつも赤ボタンをおしていたが、これは不要だった。 何もしなくても卓に出て来る。 これで、単に電源ボタンをおすだけで NetBSD が(ネットワークがなくても) 起動するようになる。( つっこみ )

の続きで、netbsd-INSTALL_KURO.gz に raidctl と atactl を加えて、
raid の設定をしようと思ったが、

某オークションで
KURO-BOX/T4
を入手した。
金物としては
TeraStation TS-TGL
と全く同じで、
EEPROM に u-boot が初めから入っている型式だ。
TS-TGL の Flash ROM を書替えても同じものになるが、
その作業をしないでも済むというだけのもの
これを NetBSD/Sandpoint 6.0_BETA で起動した。

最近は ML-115(G1) と T-105 に amd64 を入れて、
それぞれ更新しながら、
問題があったり、
うまく更新出来たりした時に、入替えて使っている。
今は 両方とも 6.0_BETA になっていて、机上機は
ML-115 の方。
しかし Emacs や xulrunner や Xorg がメモリを大変喰うような気がして反応が良くない。 それと wine を動かしたいということもあって i386 を入れて見ようと別の ML115 G5 を netboot した。例えば (netbsd-6) の 201204020540Z の版を使っている しかし kernel を読んで数字を表示した後に進まない。 PS/2 の鍵盤が気に入らないのかなと、USB 接続の鍵盤にして見たが 同じ。 試しに同じ日の amd64 だと無事起動する。 もしかして i386/conf/GENERIC と amd64/conf/GENERIC の違いかな、 と思って見較べた。実際には較べるのは INSTALL 同士だけれど i386 は MONOLITHIC を元に少し変更しているのに amd64 の方は GENERIC である。GENERIC 同士でも結構違うのに、更に差が大きく なっている。 と思って (たまたまあった) 何日か前の 6.99.4 で GENERIC を使って INSTALL kernel を作って見たが、やはり同じ。console が取れないのかな。 ＠ consdev com0 で起動した:
折角なので 6.99.4 のまま secondary boot のところで割込んで
consdev com0 boot netbsdとしたら、何と起動した。やはり console の問題だった。 怪しいのは、やはり sys/dev/ic/pckbc.c あたりだな。多分。 とは言うものの、何故 amd64 で問題がなくて、 i386 で問題になるのかは、(その辺りでは) 説明出来ないな。 static inline int pckbc_wait_output(bus_space_tag_t iot, bus_space_handle_t ioh_c)の中の次の行を変更して見る 少なくとも、↓ これで、多分普通に起動するようになった。

野暮用で西の方に出かけていた。嵐が来るというので 16:30 前に出発
して、17:00 頃には東京駅で快速に乗ったが、新小岩を過ぎたら、
川の上の鉄橋のところで風が強いということでその手前で止ってしまう。

離れたところで作業をしていたら、反応がなくなり
何か問題が起きたと気が付く。
