vlc って何かな、と思って、何とか package 出来た。(NetBSD/amd64 STABLE_50 起動すると最初に出て来る小さな Privacy and Network Policies という窓の中に retreive という語があるが、やはり retrieve ではないかな。それと、出て来る選択肢の意味が僕には不明。 Album art policy

以前に(頼まれて)録画して、Mac OS X 経由で写して、保存してあった (アナログ) TV 番組の mpg file を再生出来ました。とても不思議な感じ。
DVD を見る方法は不明
Media -> Open Disc -> Disc としても、DVD が見える気配はない。
Unix だと dev をさわるのは root のみ ?

＠ vlc-1.1.5:

vlc-1.1.5 を作って見ようとしているが、現在の patch x11-xcb の pkg-config がないと言われる。

これは libX11 が xcb 付で作られている必要がある、ということで、 pkgsrc 的には 1.3.5 以上であれば良いということになる。
