OHCI UHCI の問題だろうか。 高野さんによると、UHCI で動いて OHCI で動かない(ことがある)。

と言っているからぁ。
そうか、OV511 ではないのでは (という天の声が聞えた。いつもありがとうございます。)。 CREATIVE という会社のものだから、OV511 に決っていると思い込んでいた。 以前に Creative WebCam Plus というのを借りて来た時には確かに OV511 というような表示があって、 でもその時も使えなかったので、原因は同じと決め込んでいた。 今回のは Creative WebCam という方。
どうも OV511 でないことは間違いなさそう。
