どうも、そういう問題ではなくて、dvi2tty 用に作った macros がおかしいということ らしい(自分の所為)。でも vfxdvi で見ると、特におかしくない (?)
dvi2tty に disdvi というのが付いている。16 進も表示するように変更して、

000394:  a1 Y0
000395:  8d PUSH
000396:  91 RIGHT3:   2293760
000400:  81 SET2:    9254

やはり Y0 の移動が足りないのかな。

これでかなり幸せになる。
