すみません。
Unix User の p48 (リスト 3)には
kochi-mincho-subst.ttf って書いてあるから、こちらは
東風代替だった。
＠ それで pkgsrc/fonts/ja-shinonome を入れて見る。:
/etc/X11/fs/config に次の行を加える
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/local/
ttyp1:makoto@harry 21:44:13/040209(/etc)> fslsfonts -s unix/:7100 | wc

ttyp1:makoto@harry 21:44:28/040209(/etc)> sudo /etc/rc.d/xfs restart
Stopping xfs.
