I have packaged mule-1.1 based on @tsutsuii effort on github (my version needs following for now to start)
check your font by xlfsonts as

  xlsfonts |& grep jis

and take one of above listed,

mule -fn "-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--14-130-75-75-c-70-jisx0201.1976-0"
