getting following rpm from 3/3 CDROM
telnet-server-0.17-25.i386.rpm
/etc/xinetd.d/telnet
disable = yes
disable = no
/etc/rc.d/init.d/xinetd restart
If you still getting following message,
"tcp port telnet unreachable"
You may be better of checking if iptables (or ipchains)
At least, "/etc/rc.d/init.d/iptable stop" may change
your situation.
